ACTRESS Jenna Fischer revealed that she has been undergoing breast cancer therapy since December last year.

The woman who is famous for her role as Pam Beesly in the United States (US) version of the series The Office said she is now free of cancer after undergoing surgery as well as a series of chemotherapy and radiation.

“I’m very happy to be able to say I feel great,” Fischer said on Instagram, saying he was revealing his cancer diagnosis to encourage more people to undergo early detection.

“If I had waited six months longer, things could have been worse,” he said.

Fischer, who also stars on the Office Ladies podcast, played Pam in the series that aired between 2005 and 2013 with Steve Carrell.

The US version of The Office series is based on the British series of the same title, starring Ricky Gervais.
