From the third round of the Asian qualifiers, 6 teams will qualify directly to the 2026 World Cup, and they are the teams that will obtain the first and second places in the three groups, and according to the current arrangement of the groups, the Iraqi team is considered the “best” after three rounds, as it is the only Arab team to It occupies second place, while the teams that obtain third and fourth places will qualify for the fourth round, which will witness a competition between the six teams for two tickets, dividing them into two groups, with three teams in each group, during which the two leaders qualify for the World Cup. As for the two teams in second place, They will meet in two back-and-forth matches to determine the Asian team that will compete in the continental playoff.
