Since there are online motorcycle taxis, ordering food and drinks has become easier. Just using your cellphone, you can choose the restaurant and menu you want.

Then, the motorbike taxi driver will take you to the destination point. To satisfy customers, as a motorbike taxi driver you have to monitor food orders so that nothing is missing in the slightest.

The video upload shows the moment he took the drink order. Then it was seen that the motorbike taxi driver arrived in front of his house while taking his drink order.

After drinking the drink, the motorbike taxi driver immediately gave him the drink and then left. The video went viral and was watched 2.7 million times.

Many netizens asked questions and were annoyed with the attitude of the motorbike taxi driver. “It’s really rude, he played with his customers’ drinks. It must be reported,” wrote a netizen.

“Aren’t you angry? Really? He’s being rude, you know, drinking your drink in front of you,” wrote another netizen.

Responding to netizens’ comments, the owner of the TikTok account clarified that the ojol driver was his girlfriend. He was surprised when he ordered drinks and got his girlfriend’s driver.

“When you order a smoothie and get your boyfriend’s motorbike taxi driver, you see him secretly drinking my drink,” he wrote in the caption of the TikTok video which was confirmed by detikFood (14/10/24).

This incident is not the first time this has happened. Previously there was also a customer from Indonesia who shared a hilarious experience when ordering food via ojol.

The story was shared via the X account @Tanyarlfess (11/09). Initially he intended to send food to his lover. He also ordered via online motorcycle taxi.

However, what a surprise he was when he found that his girlfriend had received the order. “I was angry with my boyfriend and wanted to order food for him, but instead he got the driver too,” he said.

The Thirst Quencher or the Thief? A Tale of the Online Ojak Drama!

So, there we have it, folks: order up and brace for impact! A woman—alive, kicking, and apparently, rather parched—decides to order drinks through her ojol, which I can only assume stands for “Online Juice-Owning Liar.” And lo and behold, she discovers her driver has taken a preemptive sip of her beverage—a scene fit for a soap opera, perhaps? Or an episode of “Cash Cab” gone horribly wrong?

As the world spins on its axis, our protagonist finds online ordering has revolutionized the fast-food game. Tap-tap-tap on your screen, and voilà! The magic of modern technology delivers your culinary dreams, or at least, hydrated fantasies. But wait, a twist! What should have been a straightforward delivery turned into a saga, as this unwitting driver (later revealed to be her girlfriend—yes, you read that correctly) commenced a gastronomic heist worthy of Hollywood.

Was it a feast or a fraud? Let’s delve deeper!

In a TikTok saga that delighted millions, our ojol enthusiast documented the shocking moment her driver, who just so happens to share a personal relationship with her, couldn’t resist taking a swig. Millions watched this particular sip of scandal racking up 2.7 million views—more than some stand-up gigs! And boy, did the internet have opinions…

Netizens to the Rescue

Ah, what artist wouldn’t be proud? It’s like a live studio audience but with keyboards instead of applause! Netizens slammed the ojol driver, *“How rude!”* they exclaimed, clutching their pearls with fervor. One user proclaimed, *“He’s drinking your drink in front of you!”* as if it was a dramatic courtroom scene. If judgment were a sport, they would have been gold medalists.

But plot twist: the fiancé or girlfriend—or whatever title we’re supposed to crown her with—wasn’t stealing; she was merely having a pre-order preview, a personal tasting session if you will! When the trolls realized they’d rallied against the wrong person, it was less “Ricky Gervais roast” and more “Rowan Atkinson mishap”—cue the double-take, folks!

We’ve Seen it Before!

This isn’t the first time food delivery has danced on the edge of absurdity. Just a month earlier, another heartbroken soul shared their chaotic culinary adventure. This time, he’d tried to win back his angry girlfriend by ordering food—but guess who showed up? Oh yes, her ex-boyfriend on her doorstep! Talk about a delivery that arrives with a side of drama and guilt!

In this age of instantaneous gratification—where love and food go hand-in-hand—it’s like we’ve created a rom-com pothole of misunderstandings and misdelivered affection. But let’s not forget the real hero here, the ever-discerning ojol driver, whether partner or rogue, she made sure the drink was transported…at a cost to her taste buds.

Will food deliveries ever be the same again? Will you trust the drink? Only time will tell!

So, the next time you use an ojol to satisfy your cravings, remember—a sip might just alter the taste of your entire meal. And if the driver happens to be your special someone, expect an unsolicited tasting session or two! Cheers to love (and possibly a theft of taste) in unexpected places!
