North Gaza, on the tenth day of the Israeli genocide… scattered bodies and ongoing famine

Gaza – For the tenth day in a row, on Monday, the Israeli army continues its ground invasion of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, amid a strict siege during which the entry of food, drink, or fuel is prohibited.

On October 6, the Israeli army announced the start of an invasion in the northern Gaza Strip. Under the pretext of “preventing the movement of Palestinian factions from regaining their strength in the region,” while the Palestinians say that Israel wants to occupy the region and displace its residents.

Two Palestinians were killed and two others were injured in an Israeli bombing targeting civilians in the Jabalia al-Nazla area, according to a medical source.

Meanwhile, three displaced children in Abu Hussein School in Jabalia Camp were injured by shrapnel from an Israeli artillery shelling and were transferred to “Kamal Adwan” Hospital to receive treatment.

There were also deaths and injuries when an Israeli drone targeted a gathering of civilians in the vicinity of “Birket Abu Rashid” in Jabalia camp, according to eyewitnesses.

“The Israeli army continues its artillery shelling on the camp and town of Jabalia and the towns of Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun,” according to eyewitnesses to Anadolu.

The witnesses said, “The sounds of explosions and house bombings carried out by the Israeli army do not stop, even for an hour.”

They added, “The bombing operations were concentrated in Jabalia camp and Beit Lahia, where the Israeli army blew up dozens of homes and thick clouds of smoke rose from the area.”

Israeli Quadcopter drones fired machine guns on Al-Jalaa Street and the Al-Saftawi area, north of Gaza City, according to a local source told Anadolu’s correspondent.

Anadolu correspondent reported, “For 10 days, the Israeli army has continued to besiege and bomb the northern Gaza Strip, preventing the entry of food, water, and fuel, which has deepened the humanitarian crisis.”

He added, “The Israeli siege imposed by the Israeli army on Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip from all sides has brought famine back to the forefront, and created very difficult conditions, in light of the severe shortage of food, medical, fuel, and water supplies.”

Quoting eyewitnesses, the reporter said, “The Israeli army built dirt berms to prevent Palestinians from heading to nearby Gaza City, and to push them to flee via one road, which is Salah al-Din, to the south of the Strip, with the aim of emptying the northern Gaza Strip of residents.”

He reported that “the bodies of the dead were spread in the streets and roads and under the rubble of destroyed homes, due to the inability of ambulance and civil defense crews to reach and recover them.”

With American support, the ongoing Israeli genocidal war in Gaza since October 7, 2023 has left more than 140,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that has killed dozens of children and the elderly.

Tel Aviv continues its massacres, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
