IDEA Group calls the arrests of the members of Vente Venezuela “state terrorism”

“We make a serious call to the democratic governments of the Americas and Europe, particularly the United States, to take actions to hinder and condemn this practice of state terrorism.“, reads part of the text that is part of the IDEA declaration, which was signed by 26 former heads of State and Government of Spain and Latin America, as highlighted by Efe.

And it is precisely Machado this Wednesday who denounced Maduro for what he classified as “brutal repression”, against his political awning, after the news of the arrest of his training chief Henry Alviárez and his political secretary, former deputy Dignora Hernández, became known.

“This is a serious attack against the possibility that the Venezuelan nation can enjoy free, fair, competitive and transparent elections, as corresponds to any democratic society.”the statement maintains.
