Senegal is preparing to achieve full energy autonomy by 2050, relying on its natural resources such as gas, wind and sun.
This clean and affordable renewable energy will not only be sufficient for domestic needs, but the country will also be able to export part of this production to its neighbors. The cost of electricity will be reduced to less than 60 FCFA per kilowatt hour, which will benefit local households and industries.
