Architecting Your Way to the Cloud: A Microsoft Azure Adventure

Ah, the grand realm of IT! Where the coffee is strong, but the passwords are stronger, and only a select few know the difference between “Microsoft SharePoint” and “Microsoft SharePoint Server.” In a world that spins faster than a spinning plate in a circus, it seems there’s a demand for an Architect in the glorious land of Microsoft technologies. We’re talking remote work, people—so grab your sweatpants and let’s dive in!

What’s the Deal?

So, what does it mean to be an Architect (m/f/d) in Microsoft technologies? Essentially, you’re the maestro of a fancy symphony. You’ll whip up applications that would make even the most seasoned developers weep tears of joy—or frustration, depending on how the debugging goes! Your task list looks like the checklist of a neurosurgeon, but instead of brains, you’ll be optimizing technical components in applications and ensuring interfaces hum along like a well-oiled machine.

The Job Description Overview

  • Develop and Optimize: You’ll fine-tune the technical components and modules like a barista perfects the foam on a latte.
  • Standards Compliance: Because who doesn’t love a bit of house rules, right? Think standardized development environments and programming guidelines. As thrilling as reading the safety manual before a rollercoaster!
  • Fixing Errors: Yes, that daunting post-test phase. Kind of like cleaning up a messy party—no one wants to do it, but someone has to!
  • Document and Communicate: You’ll be speaking in architecture tongues that not even Google Translate fully understands sometimes.
  • Collaborate: Work with various stakeholders—like a diplomatic summit, except you’re talking code instead of climate change!
  • Delivery Packages: That’s right, it’s not just for Christmas anymore! You’ll package relevant applications like you’re wrapping up a birthday surprise.

Must-Have Requirements

Here come the qualifications! If you don’t meet at least a few of these, you might as well be trying to sell ice to Eskimos.

  • 5+ years development experience in M365 (SharePoint—yep, that one with the endless lists).
  • 5+ years in MS Azure solution architecture—focusing on security because, let’s face it, we could all use a little more of that in our lives!
  • 5+ years deep in the trenches of Azure DevOps Services and CI/CD Pipelines—yawn, or whoop, depending on your love for automation.
  • Architecture expertise in at least two areas—because why specialize in one thing when you can be decently average at two?
  • 3 years with a focus on container-based apps, compliance, and security. Containers—you know, the magic boxes that people talk about but can never seem to open correctly.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

But wait, there’s more! If you’ve got some of these skills tucked up your sleeve like a magician, you might just be the golden ticket:

  • Knowledge of programming languages like TypeScript, Go, C#, .NET Core, and React—because having a Swiss army knife of languages makes you feel invincible!
  • Experience automating Infrastructure As Code with Terraform or Pulumi. I mean, who wouldn’t want their infrastructure laid out as if it were on a digital game board?
  • A staggering seven years in software architecture may win you the title of ‘Cloud Overlord’—or at the very least, some serious street cred.

Perks of the Job

Oh, the joys of a remote position! Can you smell the freedom? Starting from October 28, 2024, and wrapping up on December 31, 2025, you can indulge in a 50% occupancy role. Location? 130 PT, which translates to “yes, you can stay in your pajamas while you work!” And let’s not forget, the project language is German, so brush up on your Duolingo, mate!

Conclusion: Are You Ready?

If your profile tickles these boxes, our ‘customer’ (whoever they may be, probably hidden away in a corporate lair) is waiting for your CV, availability, and daily rate. Grab your keyboard and let’s architect some clouds, my friend!

Final Thoughts

Just remember: even the mightiest of architects need a bit of charm and humor to grease the wheels of collaboration. So, whether you’re the next Azure wizard or just someone looking to spice up your tech resume, the sky’s the limit—just as long as it’s not a cloudy one!
