The Curious Case of Compass Finance: A Comedy of Errors or Just a Plot Twist?
Ah, welcome, dear readers, to the most riveting tale out of Geneva since… well, since those previous clients of Compass Finance lost their shirts during the market crash of March 2020! Grab your popcorn; we’ve got a plot thicker than a politician’s promises here.
So, what’s the scoop? We’ve got Compass Finance attempting a Fénix-like rise from the ashes—or, at the very least, a very strange rebranding process. Mysteriously, a new site has popped up, adorned with not just the same name but the same logo (yes, they must have a thing for compasses, perhaps they think they’ll find true north in the financial world?). This slick marketing maneuver is matched only by the déjà vu of their former directors, who are currently suspected of fraud. Talk about a family reunion gone wrong!
Now, let’s take a closer look at this ‘new’ Compass Finance, shall we? They’ve apparently taken on some rather high-profile projects, like financing the Riyadh metro. All this while the original Compass Finance is knee-deep in courts and creditors. If you ask me, it’s like watching a game of Monopoly where one player is about to go bankrupt and another is suddenly selling Boardwalk hotels like they’re going out of style. "Do not pass Go, do not collect $200!"
The intriguing plot thickens as the director, playing the part of the innocent swan amid this pond of scandal, insists he has zero connection to this new venture. His lawyer must be a magician because a sleight of hand has gone marvelously right here! "No, I didn’t start a new company with the same name, logo, and location! Wink wink".
What’s truly bewildering is how the new website boasts of legitimacy, claiming to have financed monumental projects while the original’s clients are probably considering a career in coin-collecting. The fact that they share a domain name that’s practically a sneeze away from the original should send alarm bells ringing louder than a fire drill at a silent retreat.
And if you’re itching for more details, you’re in luck! Le Temps is running a flash sale on digital subscriptions at half price. Perhaps they know the hunt for reliable information is just as tricky as finding a competent finance company these days! But hey, if half-price news is what you need to get through this scandal-ridden drama, then do what you must.
In summary, whether this is a dodgy revival plot, or some entrepreneurs with a profound love for compasses looking to find their way in the financial fog, I guess we’ll have to stay tuned. Keep your wallets close and your subscriptions closer; you never know when you’ll need reliable information to navigate the choppy waters of contemporary finance. Or perhaps to identify another old Compass Finance with a new coat of paint!
And with that, I bid you adieu! Just remember to keep your guard up; in the world of finance, the compass may point north, but the path just might lead you south. Happy investing!

Is this a new life for Compass Finance? A website recently put online presents a company which strangely resembles this management company whose directors are suspected of fraud and unfair management by the Geneva justice system. Same address, same logo (a compass), same business identification number (IDE) and an activity that moves from wealth management to corporate financing and commodity trading. Attempted revival or support for attempted fraud? The director of Compass Finance assures through his lawyer that he has nothing to do with this new website and the company described there.
While Compass Finance, known to the Geneva courts, is attacked by former clients who lost all their assets during the fall of the markets in March 2020 (Time has spoken about it several times), the “new” Compass Finance boasts of having financed important projects, such as the Riyadh metro or an ultra-modern medical complex in Egypt. This is what this site says, with a domain name very close to that of the “original” Compass Finance, if we can say: https://compassfinance.org/against (the latter is no longer accessible).
