The Austrian Seismological Service of Geosphere Austria reported in a statement an earthquake of magnitude 2.0 at 9:35 p.m. near Gloggnitz in the Neunkirchen district. The quake was felt as far as Ternitz and a rumbling sound was reported. No damage to buildings is known and is not expected at this level, it said.
