The media office confirmed that “the Israeli army is working to completely eliminate the health system by putting all the hospitals in the north out of service and shooting them directly,” noting that it “targeted all vital sectors in northern Gaza, seeking to turn the northern Gaza governorate into an area of devastation and killing.” “In the framework of achieving his plan to displace the Palestinian people.”
In its statement, the office condemned “the massacres committed by the Israeli army against the Palestinian people in Jabalia and the northern Gaza Strip,” and appealed to the countries of the world, the international community, and all UN and international organizations to stop “the crime of genocide, and to stop the cascade of blood in the Gaza Strip and this humanitarian farce.”
He held Israel and the American administration fully responsible for “the continuation of the crime of genocide and the continued targeting and killing of civilians in Jabalia and northern Gaza, especially the killing of children and women.”
He explained, “What Jabalia and the northern Gaza Strip governorate are being exposed to is a crime of eradication and a crime against international law and against humanity.”
For the eighth day in a row, the Israeli army launched a ground attack, focusing on the areas of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia and the Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip, in an attempt to empty those areas of residents.
Last Saturday night, the Israeli army announced the start of a ground military operation in Jabalia under the pretext of “preventing the Palestinian separation movement from regaining its strength in the region,” hours after the start of a fierce attack on the eastern and western regions of the northern Gaza Strip, the most violent since last May.
The Civil Defense Service in the Gaza Strip confirmed that 200,000 citizens in the Jabalia area face the risk of death either as a result of Israeli bombing or hunger and thirst, in light of the ongoing ground siege for the seventh day in a row.
Meanwhile, Gaza Health announced that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombing of the Strip for 372 days had reached 42,175 dead and 98,336 injured.
