New twist in Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Test match, big news came from Pindi Stadium

The first Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the Rawalpindi Stadium ended without any result.

Pindi Test draw, centuries by Abid Ali and Babar Azam against Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka declared their first innings 308 runs for 6 out, in response to which Pakistan scored 252 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in their first innings till the end of the last day’s play.

On behalf of Pakistan, Shaan Masood and Abid Ali opened the innings but Shaan Masood got out without scoring a run.

Azhar Ali, the captain of the national team, formed a partnership of 87 runs with Abid Ali and on the score of 90, Azhar Ali was caught out after scoring 36 runs.

Debutant Abid Ali continued his brilliant batting streak and completed his century with the help of 10 fours.

He is the first male player in world history to make his Test debut after an ODI, and the thirteenth player from Pakistan.

Babar Azam also scored a century on 118 balls in his first Test at the home ground with a brilliant batting performance and remained unbeaten on 102 runs.

The four-day Pindi Test was marred by rain and inclement weather, but when the weather cleared on the last day of the match, Sri Lanka opened their first innings incomplete with 282 for 5.

Sri Lanka’s Dinan Jaya de Silva was at the wicket with 87 and Dilruwan Perera with 6 runs. Perera was out for 16 after adding 10 runs to his individual score as D’Silva completed his century and Sri Lanka declared their first innings at 308 for 6 after D’Silva’s century.

On behalf of Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah dismissed two players each, while Muhammad Abbas and Usman Shinwari got one wicket each.
