SCO Summit in Islamabad: Security arrangements complete, traffic plan in progress

Pakistan capital of Islamabad Strict security arrangements are being made in connection with the SCO Summit, while Pakistan Army troops have also been deployed in the city before the summit.

According to the statement issued by the Foreign Office of Pakistan, Pakistan Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will host the 23rd meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (CHG) from 15 to 16 October 2024 in Islamabad.

“Prime Minister of Mongolia (observer state) and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan (special guest) will also attend the meeting.”

The statement said that the Prime Minister will also hold important bilateral meetings with the heads of the visiting delegation on the occasion of the meeting.

A call to protest
