Managers charge up to $350 for criminal records

Users on social networks reported that the managers charge between 140 and 350 dollars to process the criminal record certificate.

Since August 2024, it has been reported that The page of the Ministry of the Interior and Justice is down. The only option users have is to carry out this procedure in person at the Caracas offices.

A source, who preferred to remain anonymous, informed The Diary that a manager was charging him $140 to obtain this document in a period of two weeks.

This complaint has been repeated on social networks since the ministry’s website went down. Some users claim that the figure reaches up to $360.

Another user of this social network reported that they were asking for $270 for an apostilled criminal record and that the response time was between 6 and 10 days.
