The anonymous user who identifies herself as Mccoam on X (formerly Twitter), and who offers information for the management of procedures in Venezuela, indicated that the page is not loading due to problems with the host.
This type of host problems refers to failures in the server where the web page is hosted. That is, the server that is responsible for storing and delivering page content to users may be experiencing technical difficulties, such as overloading, unscheduled maintenance, or configuration errors.
These issues may typically require adjustments to the server or platform’s technical infrastructure, which can sometimes cause temporary interruptions in service while changes are implemented.
How to request criminal records in person?
Due to the contingency with the website, which is under maintenance, MIJP staff refers citizens to the Ministry for the Penitentiary Servicelocated in the Paris building in the La Candelaria parish (Caracas), to manage the process through a letter that explains the reason why the citizen needs the document.
The applicant must come from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm to be attended to at the ministerial headquarters. The documents necessary to process the issuance of the document include the explanatory letter and the receipts that support the citizen’s request. You also need a copy of your ID card.
The receipts are essential to proceed with the issuance of criminal records, since they allow the veracity of the request to be verified and guarantee that the process is carried out in accordance with the established requirements.
If the applicant has a scheduled trip, you can attach a copy of the tickets along with the letter. Other supports may be:

– Medical reports in case of a health situation
According to information from institutional staff, criminal records can be removed after 2 to 4 business days.
