Sindh Energy Minister Nasir Hussain Shah announced the big news regarding giving solar system for homes to the people.
According to the details, Sindh Energy Minister Nasir Hussain Shah said in a private TV conversation that if a province is giving relief to the people, there should be no objection or talk.
Nasir Shah said that Murad Ali Shah is my Prime Minister, I know his condition, he never talks like that, the Chief Minister said some harsh words which I think should not have been said, on the other hand, the statement made by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz was also not appropriate.
The provincial minister said that the issue is that the electricity tariff is a big problem that the people are facing. President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif are also serious about this issue. Work was being done to make such a policy which would reduce the electricity rates.
He said that if the four provinces give 72 billion rupees, the basic electricity tariff would be reduced by 5 rupees. There is no doubt that the federal government is serious about the problem of electricity. The federal government and the allies all want the people to get relief.
The Sindh Energy Minister further said that there was talk that the federation and the provinces together could give relief of Rs. 5 in the basic tariff up to 500 units.
He said that 14 rupees are reduced only for 2 months while 5 rupees are reduced for the entire 12 months, we are making a plan, generate through solar park and give it to K Electric and use up to 200 units for free.
The provincial minister said that the highest number of consumers are in Karachi, Hesco and Cisco are less, they are starting to provide solar to the people of Sindh for their homes in September.
