Asunción, Oct 12 (EFE).- The Corinthians women’s team won its ticket to the semifinals this Saturday after beating Paraguayan Olimpia 2-0 in a match for the quarterfinals of the Copa Libertadores that will be played until October 19. October in Paraguay.
Gabi Zanotti (m.50) and Millene Fernandes scored the winning goals for Corinthians, current champion of the women’s Libertadores.
The Brazilians came to this stage as leaders of Group A with seven points, and eliminated Olimpia from the tournament, which had achieved second place in Group B with six.

Goalkeeper Nicole Ramos was the protagonist at the end of the duel by keeping the Brazilian goal clean with notable saves after attempts by Camila Barbosa and Vanessa Arce.
This day Santos from Brazil and Boca Juniors from Argentina will also meet in the quarterfinals.
