The builder has come out of the ground with a new school building in Lihula

The old school building in Lihula will be demolished in May, the new one must be completed by September. In the meantime, the children study on the substitute premises.

The cornerstone of the new school building in Lihula was laid on Thursday, the old school building will be demolished in May next year. “We have come out of the ground with the school building,” said Margo Padar, project manager of Ehitus5eco, which is building the school building, to the group invited to observe the laying of the cornerstone.

The new academic year of Lihula high school must start on September 1, 2025 already in the new academic building of Lääneranna school. However, the last lessons of this school year must be held in temporary classrooms at different locations.
