Shakira ‘sold out’ her three concerts in Colombia and announces a new date in Bogotá

Bogotá, Oct 11 (EFE).- Shakira sold all the tickets for the three concerts she will give in Colombia as part of the leg of her ‘Women No Longer Cry’ tour through Latin America in 2025, but announced a new date in Bogotá for the 27th. February, the concert organizers reported this Friday.

To the three original dates in his native Barranquilla, Medellín and the capital, a fourth is added at the El Campín Stadium in Bogotá, due to the high demand for tickets from Colombians.

«One day Shakira became the soundtrack of our lives and today she sells out three stadiums at home, but we have NEW BOGOTÁ DATE! February 27 | El Campín Stadium,” said the company Páramo Presenta in a message published on the social network X.

The news comes just a few days after the singer announced the advance of her concert in Barranquilla so that it does not coincide with La Guacherna, one of the previous events of the carnival of that Caribbean city, a date that will be special because she has not performed there since 2018 when he participated in the opening ceremony of the Central American and Caribbean Games.

«I want to celebrate La Guacherna with my people, so I have asked the organizers to advance my concert in Barranquilla to February 20. I really want to sing at home again! See you in February and long live the carnival,” Shakira said in X.

Shakira will begin her world tour on November 2 in the Californian city of Palm Desert, in the Coachella Valley, the starting point of a 28-date tour of North America, which will conclude on December 21 at Dodger Stadium, in Los Angeles.

The performer, who last week published her new single, ‘Soltera’, whose music video was published this Friday on YouTube, will begin her journey through Latin America on February 11, 2025 at the Nilton Santos stadium in Rio de Janeiro, to continue two days later at the Morumbis stadium in Sao Paulo, both in Brazil.

Two dates follow – February 16 and 17 – at the National Stadium in Lima, where the Colombian star has already sold out the tickets for both concerts.

The singer will embark on this tour after publishing her twelfth studio album in March of this year, ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’, which in its first 24 hours of being released became the most played album so far in 2024. .
