Apple announced a great news for iPhone users

Technology company Apple has introduced the latest version of iOS 17.6.1. The new software in this version comes a week and a half after the launch of the original iOS 17.6.1 update.

iOS 17.6.1 can be downloaded on eligible iPhones and iPads by going to Software Update within the General option in Settings.

According to Apple’s release notes, the iOS 17.6.1 update fixes an issue that could prevent Advanced Data Protection from being enabled or disabled. However, it is not clear what is the difference between the new version of the software and the original version.

The Advanced Data Protection bug affected a small number of users. People who tried to turn on Advanced Data Protection and those who were not able to enable it saw an error message and it was clear that it was not enabled.

Affected users who tried to turn it off saw it disabled in the interface, although it was actually still enabled for iCloud data.

Both of these bugs have been fixed in the update. iPhone users who had a bug that prevented Advanced Data Protection from properly turning off will see a notification confirming the decision to turn off the feature after installing iOS 17.6.1. will be asked to do.
