Machado said she was sure of counting on Venezuelans, both inside and outside the country.
According to the Electoral Gazette published on June 4 by the National Electoral Council (CNE), which closed the final registration at the end of May, a total of 21,620,705 people are qualified to vote in the presidential elections.
According to official information, of the total registered, 21,323,253 are Venezuelans residing in the national territory, 228,241 are foreigners and 69,211 are nationals registered in embassies abroad.
The number of those registered abroad represents 0.89% of the 7,774,494 migrants registered by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).
