Arlex Méndez from Tachira won a dizzying and tight race to claim victory in the sixth stage of the Vuelta a Venezuela 2024.

This time the Creoles dominated. The young runner from Alicanto Consulting Group-Loteria Del Tachira defeated his teammate Edwin Torres and Luis Gómez (Mutraining Banco Plaza).

In the general standings the Colombians are still ahead. Walter Vargas continued to lead, followed closely by his teammate Javier Jamaica, both from Team Medellin. The third in contention is Luis Mora, member of the Bolivarian Government of Trujillo – MPPOP.

This Saturday the competition will continue with the seventh and penultimate stage, which will consist of 146 kilometers on the Valencia Metropolitan Circuit in Carabobo state.
