“I’m going to Maxim” – The former villa of stage star Johannes Heesters is currently being offered for sale on willhaben.at for almost 2.4 million euros. “This impressive property with around 356 m² of living space plus 30 m² of loft conversion, plus a cellar (approx. 68 m²) with sauna, hobby room and workshop as well as the double garage extends over a spacious plot of 1,452 m²,” says the advertisement. The property, built in 1986, has a stylish garden, nine rooms, several bathrooms, a terrace and a very prominent previous owner:

The popular actor and singer was 108 years old, successfully appeared in countless films, operettas and theater productions and received the “Bambi” award a total of ten times. He was the recipient of the Ring of Honor of the City of Vienna as well as numerous other international awards and honorary prizes, and was also honored with the platinum “Romy” in 2001 for his life’s work. In his final years, the always elegant Heesters was considered the world’s oldest active performing artist. In total, he was on stage for around 90 years and was still entertaining his fans even at the ripe old age of 107.
