In the meantime, unknown terrorists attacked near the sea road to rescue the accomplices involved in the Dasu attack, as a result of which the terrorists Muhammad Hussain and Muhammad Ayaz were killed by their own accomplices while the CTD and district police The personnel of the company escaped unhurt during the firing.
The spokesman further said that ‘a search operation has been started to arrest the terrorists who did the firing.’
How did the Dasu incident happen and how were the accused caught?
On July 14, 2021, 13 people, including nine Chinese nationals, were killed and more than 20 people were injured in an attack on staff working on the Dasu Hydel project at Dasu.

During the investigation, it was first examined from the explosive particles, the intensity of the explosion and the vehicle parts that the explosion was carried out by a Honda motor car, while its fragments and human body parts at the scene showed that the explosion was a suicide.

A senior police officer investigating the incident told Independent Urdu that ‘CCTV footage of the highway where the dam is located was collected. With the help of this footage, the same Honda car was chased and finally at one place the sensitive agencies reached the front number plate of this vehicle.
‘Car scraps and footage collected from the scene revealed a red sticker, which mentioned a showroom. But that sticker was not clearly visible. The story was stuck in this sticker.’
He further said that this problem has been solved by modern technology. When the sticker was clear, it said ‘Chaman 2 Showroom’ on it. Then the search for Chaman 2 showrooms started from Balochistan to Gilgit. The search ended at Malakand Chakdra when this showroom was found there.
‘The owners of the showroom were shown photographs of the vehicle which were painstakingly prepared by the forensic team. When the records of the showroom were checked, it was found that Syed Muhammad son of Khaista Muhammad had taken this vehicle from the showroom.
“The search for Syed Muhammad started from his haliya and mobile number, then soon the sensitive agencies came to know that his real name is Muhammad Hussain son of Abdul Rahim and he is a resident of Swat Tehsil Matta area of Spainpora.
“Mohammad Hussain was picked up by CTD and plainclothes personnel of the sensitive organization and investigated at an unknown location. It was found that Mohammad Ayaz and Fazal Hadi were also with him in the delivery of the vehicle and contacts, they were also traced.” Arrested.’
According to the police investigation, when these three were questioned separately, a picture of the incident began to emerge. Their stories were then linked. It was found that there were eight other characters behind this one incident. Separate teams were formed to detain them. Other accused included Muhibullah alias Irfan, Mian Syed Muhammad, Shaukat Ali, Abdul Wahab, Umarzada, Anwar Ali, Khalid and Tariq alias ‘Button Kharab’.
According to the police officials, during the investigation, it was found that Muhammad Hussain was the mastermind of this attack. The vehicle for this attack was purchased seven months ago in January 2021 and was kept by Muhammad Hussain.
On July 7, he took the suicide bomber Khalid alias Sheikh and reached Muhammad Hussain. After committing suicide and planting explosives, Tariq aka Bitan Kharab headed back to Afghanistan while the rest of the men began finalizing the plan for the attack.
According to the investigation, exactly a week later on July 14, Khalid managed to drive a car full of explosives into a bus carrying Chinese engineers and local people in Dasu.
On November 9, 2021, CTD Police Hazara appeared in the Anti-Terrorism Court with all the evidence, statements and the accused. In the same year, the court found the accused Muhammad Hussain son of Abdul Rahim involved in various provisions of this case and sentenced him to death 13 times, a fine of 15 lakh rupees, 10 years imprisonment with hard labor (32 times), two years imprisonment with hard labor with a fine of 10 lakh rupees. , sentenced to 18 years’ imprisonment with hard labor (seven times), 18 months’ imprisonment with hard labour.
