On Friday, October 11, the 2024-2025 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) begins, so several of the teams announced the ticket prices through their social networks and websites.

The opening match of the season will be between the current champions, the Tiburones de La Guaira, against the Navegantes del Magallanes at the stadium of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV).

The rest of the six LVBP teams will have their first game on Saturday, October 12:

-Leones del Caracas vs. Eagles of Zulia

-Caribes of Anzoátegui vs. Aragua Tigers

-Bravos de Margarita vs. Cardinals of Lara

On the page of the Caribes de Anzoátegui, Bravos de Margarita, the Águilas del Zulia and the Cardenales de Lara only the price of the published season tickets appears and not the price of the tickets for this season’s games.

The news for this season of the LVBP

On Monday, October 8, the LVBP held a press conference in which it announced the details of this season and the news that will be.

The president of the LVBP, Giuseppe Palmisano, announced several changes and new additions, among which the first draft of newbies. This event will be held through a raffle on December 10 at the Teresa Carreño Theater.

He also confirmed the renewal of licenses from the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) for all teams that make up the league.

Likewise, he indicated that they are making innovations from a technological point of view with cameras that will allow a direct signal with television stations.

According to the LVBP, the clocks installed for this season in all stadiums are expected to be operational from day one.

Another novelty that will be present this season is an update in the LVBP regulations in which players are prohibited from performing the so-called “perreo.”
