Exhibition – Jànluc Sauvaigo – The 36 views of Mont Bald
From 05/16 to 11/30/2024, every day.
Between 2004 and 2010, Jànluc Sauvaigo illustrated a series of sketches from the “Nissarde popular history”, taking place on Mont Bald, thus the 36 views of Mont Bald were born.
The first map is firstly inspired by the Japanese painter Hiroshige, for the others, Jànluc Sauvaigo evokes Hokusai and his famous Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji. The author will say: “I wanted to celebrate in my own way a magical place in the region. And in Nice, Mont Chauve was obvious. It is visible from the Paillon and Var basins, almost everywhere. »

Preventive preservation, restoration, proofreading… These activities carried out behind the scenes are often unknown to the public. But for this exhibition, the agents of the Palais Lascaris wish to share their passion and their favorite object, to show the public their daily life.

The iconic Castle Hill is hosting a monumental exhibition by Italian artist Andrea Roggi.
Three works, including two previously unpublished, “Love, the Future of the World” and “The Future is Us”, will be installed in the natural setting of the Château hill and the Bay of Angels. The exhibition is inspired by the Greek concept of love, with monumental bronze sculptures representing nature, perfectly integrated into the environment of Nice.

This exhibition explores the world of bamboo in Japan, a cultural ensemble that integrates the history of the archipelago, its art and its link with China.
The visitor will discover contemporary creations and then understand the roots of an age-old tradition through a story articulated around three major lineages of artists.
Jean Mas in shadow and cube exhibition

L’Artistique returns with the restitution of the Ferrero Donation Collection and invites Jean Mas for a temporary exhibition.
In 1986, Jean Ferrero offered Jean Mas an exhibition entitled “Le cubage de l’École de Nice”, to “cube” different artists from the School of Nice. The following year, Jean Mas created 19 wooden cubes measuring 20x20x20 cm. The exhibition is being held with the edition of a booklet limited to one hundred copies by “Z’ éditions”, and, as often, when Jean Ferrero is at the origin, he decides to keep all these pieces which will end up being part of of its donation to the City of Nice in 2014.

Since 2005, the Nice improvisation theater league, ContaBlaBla, has presented its improvisation show “Jivejigo”, where interaction with the audience is the driving force of the evening!
Four actors improvise the most unexpected stories based on the challenges imposed by a wild presenter, who relies on the active participation of the audience to come up with words on the fly. So come with your ideas… The ContaBlaBla will respond with theirs!

In this exhibition, the artist invites us to reconnect with our common heritage which is the sea “Aquela Mar”, the title of the exhibition means “This sea” in Nice.
This exhibition is divided into three parts for in-depth artistic exploration.
