The candidate of the Democratic Unitary Platform (PUD) recalled that this case “joins others that demonstrate the disrespect of power to Venezuelans”, in reference to 16 other establishments that – according to anti-Chavismo – were closed or inspected in recent weeks. by the Executive, after receiving González Urrutia or the opposition leader María Corina Machado.
“Rest assured that respect and peace will come,” added the opponent, who shared photographs of the place in which the decals of the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (Seniat) can be seen, which establish a closure until the 26th. of July.
According to complaints from the PUD and non-governmental organizations such as Acceso a la Justicia, the tax agency has “sanctioned” several businesses, mainly hotels and restaurants, for receiving or serving opposition leaders, alleging a lack of documentation or records. .
