Shadows Fall on the Kremlin: Global Silence Echoes on Putin’s Isolated Birthday

Word and deed

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin celebrated his birthday on Monday, October 7. At the same time, he received the fewest congratulations from foreign leaders since the beginning of the full-scale war.

This was reported by the Russian publication “Agentstvo”.

In particular, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated Putin in a telephone conversation. However, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Oleksandr Lukashenko, probably did it personally, because today he flew to the aggressor country.

Who congratulated Putin on his birthday:

  • Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega;
  • President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov;
  • President of Belarus Oleksandr Lukashenko;
  • Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan;
  • President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan;
  • CAR President Fosten-Archangel Touadera;
  • President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev;
  • King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

According to mass media, this number is less than in the first two years of the war in Ukraine.

As you know, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin stopped visiting his residence in Sochi, fearing for his life after drone attacks on objects in the city.

We will remind you that in September-October 2023, Ukrainian drones began to fly to Sochi. In particular, one of the drones fell on the territory of the Sochi airport and damaged the helipad.

The ambassador also talked about the most promising format for creating a tribunal for Putin.
