Most recently, the former TNI officer indicated that there were a number of ministers from President Jokowi’s period in his cabinet. This strengthens the signal that there are Jokowi people who will help Prabowo in running the next government.

Even so, Prabowo did not mention the number and names of Jokowi’s ministers who entered his government with Gibran. According to him, Jokowi looked for the best people when forming a cabinet. Therefore, he wanted to do the same. “And by chance, if the person is still good, we will definitely ask to come again,” he said.
Bahlil Says the Minister of Economy in Prabowo’s Cabinet is Still an Old Man
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia revealed that the economic ministers in the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government were still old-timers. However, he did not elaborate on the names of the ministers in question.
“What Mr. Jokowi did yesterday with Mr. Kiai Ma’ruf Amin, will be continued by Mr. Prabowo and Mr. Gibran. Moreover, God willing, if we believe it, the economic ministers are still the old ministers. 1. Bahlil Lahadalia
According to reports Tempo Magazine entitled “Jokowi’s Last Girlfriend Before Retirement: Ministerial Chair Until Protecting Fufufafa,” it was stated that President Jokowi proposed a number of names of potential ministers and heads of state institutions to Prabowo Subianto. This was revealed by four high-ranking party officials supporting the government and two of Jokowi’s colleagues to Tempo.
One of the names proposed by Jokowi was the General Chair of the Golkar Party Bahlil Lahadalia. He is said to have the opportunity to refill the position of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). The former Minister of Investment was also recently appointed by Jokowi as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources replacing Arifin Tasrif.

The Secretary General of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), Raja Juli Antoni, is reportedly one of the names proposed by Jokowi to be included in Prabowo’s cabinet. Juli currently serves as Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning. Tempo Magazine on Sunday, October 6 2024 stated that Juli will reportedly occupy the position of Minister of Forestry in the next Prabowo period.
3. Budi Arie Setiadi
The Minister of Communication and Information (Kominfo), Budi Arie Setiadi, is said to be one of the ministerial candidates in Prabowo’s Cabinet, at Jokowi’s suggestion. It is rumored that the General Chair of the Pro Jokowi or Projo volunteer group will become Minister of Villages.
Budi is a Jokowi loyalist who helped him win the presidential elections in 2014 and 2019. He also helped Prabowo’s campaign, which is paired with Jokowi’s son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, in the 2024 presidential election.
4. Pratikno
Another Jokowi person who is rumored to be included in Prabowo’s cabinet is Minister of State Secretary Pratikno. He is Jokowi’s operator or right hand man. He is also suspected of being involved in various Jokowi political maneuvers. The former Chancellor of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) is expected to serve as Coordinating Minister for Human Empowerment.
The Secretary General of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani, responded to the issue of Pratikno’s inclusion in the Prabowo-Gibran cabinet. “I don’t understand one by one, as far as I know there is (Pratikno’s name),” said Muzani at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 9 2024.
5. Listyo Sigit Prabowo
The last name that Jokowi reportedly proposed to become Prabowo’s minister was Listyo Sigit Prabowo. Apart from his position in the cabinet, Jokowi is also said to have proposed Listyo Sigit Prabowo to remain as Head of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia or Chief of Police.
