Asunción, IP Agency.- The Academy of Women Entrepreneurs, known as AWE, with the support of the Ministry of Women, launched its new edition to empower Paraguayan women entrepreneurs and strengthen their skills to scale their companies.
Applications for the call can be made until October 22. Those interested must enter HERE.
In this edition, 100 entrepreneurial women will benefit from all the departments of the country, as well as the capital. The goal is to achieve a broader reach and significant impact in diverse communities.
The program is aimed at Paraguayan female entrepreneurs, between 18 and 60 years old, owners of small or medium-sized businesses, who face challenges in developing business plans to expand their companies.
Participants must have a business in operation for at least six months. Likewise, as in previous editions, AWE 2024 aims to achieve greater inclusion of women from indigenous and Afro-descendant peoples, promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, in line with the State’s objectives.
To be part of the program, those interested must complete a pre-registration form, and then the technical team of the Paraguayan Foundation will contact those selected.
This program is implemented by the Paraguayan Foundation in conjunction with the United States Embassy in Paraguay.
AWE seeks to empower participants by providing them with the tools and networks necessary to turn their projects into successful companies. By including women from all regions, the program not only promotes individual economic development, but also contributes to generating better conditions of stability, security and prosperity in their communities.
About AWE
The AWE program uses the DreamBuilder platform, a free digital platform that offers 13 online courses or modules that teach participants skills and knowledge necessary to start or grow their own business.
The courses are interactive and are available at any time of the week for the benefit of entrepreneurs. Additionally, it provides an official certification from Thunderbird School of Global Management for those who complete the program.
The innovative AWE program provides a hybrid training model for participants, and has already proven to have a huge impact on the ventures created or strengthened from past editions.
The topics of greatest interest to our entrepreneurs include marketing, finance and accounting. The course includes the support of specialist facilitators, the accompaniment of mentors, a series of success testimonies and seed capital prizes for the best business proposals.
