Vanishing Act: Unraveling the Enigma Surrounding BitBay’s Elusive Founder Sylwester Suszek

The topic of Sylwester Suszek, the creator of the BitBay exchange (today zondacrypto), who disappeared in 2022, returns. Now, TVN has prepared a report on the case.

  • Sylwester Suszek, the creator of BitBay, disappeared in 2022.
  • His assets are controlled by a company registered in Luxembourg, TVN reports.

Sylwester Suszek disappeared

TVN returned to the topic of Suszka. Even before his disappearance, the station had prepared a report about his alleged connections with people with a bad past. Now the station has taken a closer look at, among others, Mariana W., former partner of a young businessman.

Marian W. at the time of her disappearance [Sylwestra] he allegedly had his phone turned off, and when he finally met the missing man’s partner, he tried to convince her that Sylwester had left the base with an unknown woman. However, he was unable to provide details of her appearance and did not remember what car she was driving

– TVN reports.

The station added that W. is suspected of leading a criminal group. She was supposed to be involved in VAT fraud on fuel trade and launder over PLN 1.5 billion. Was it so? It is not known because the services are still investigating the case.

Could W. have had anything to do with Suszek’s disappearance? Again: we don’t know. For some time, a popular thesis was that the founder of BitBay simply ran away and left his family – his partner and child. However, this is contradicted by the former’s testimony. This seems unlikely, because Suszek was supposed to be a happy father and partner.

What about the property?

However, TVN provided much more interesting information that sheds new light on the matter. Apparently Sylwester’s estate was taken over by his associates. It’s about real estate, cars and cryptocurrencies. It’s worth adding that the latter do not comment on the matter, so it is difficult to say clearly whether this is the case.

The report also includes the topic of Suszek’s communication with other people. According to TVN journalists, the businessman allegedly received threats from former business partners. He was one of those Roman Z., which was initially supposed to be behind the BitBay exchange. And this is where accusations of tax fraud appear.

This introduces us to another interesting thread – at some point, the futurocoin pseudo-cryptocurrency appeared on BitBay. As we know today, it was associated with a financial pyramid.

According to the TVN editorial team, Ż. was supposed to agree on the cooperation of the cryptocurrency exchange with Futurocoin.

Documents from Sylwester Suszek’s phone confirm our previous findings that until 2019, Roman Ż. was supposed to be the main investor and the brain behind the BitBay exchange. He even received a list of exchange clients with their addresses and deposit amounts in e-mails

– reporters say.

They also connect Ż. with damage to one of Suszek’s cars, which was supposed to scare the latter and make him worry about his safety.

However, the matter should not be dealt with by the media, but by the services, and all threads should be thoroughly investigated. Currently, we cannot judge anything or accuse anyone of anything.
