Tension prevailed at noon on Thursday (10.10.24) at the Old Philosophical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. An event was taking place in the School’s ceremonial hall, where the Rector, Charalambos Feidas, was present.
According to information, a group of people approached the Rector of AUTH and prevented him from leaving the hall. The Police were informed and within a few minutes a police operation was organized to free him.
A police force entered the old School of Philosophy and moved against the people who prevented the dean from leaving.
Tension followed during which the Police arrested 5 people.
The rector fled with the assistance of EL.AS.
