Punjab Stadium Lahore Athletics Federation has organized the fastest male and female competition.
The competition was held on October 8 in which male and female athletes from across the country participated.
Pakistan’s fastest men and women were decided after conducting several hundred meter races.
In the final of the men’s race, the first position was won by Shajar Abbas from Tehsil Patuki of Kasur district who completed the distance of 100 meters in 10.34 seconds.
While 21-year-old Tamin Khan from Peshawar, who is studying law, won the women’s race and won the title of the fastest woman in Pakistan.
Speaking to Independent Urdu after the match, Shajar Abbas said that he plays for WAPDA and is going to participate in the upcoming World and Asian Championships.
Shajar Abbas said that ‘Arshad Nadeem has brought a gold medal to Pakistan. We all look up to them and hope that we can win a medal like them.’

Similarly, the fastest woman Taemin Khan said that she is studying law but athletics is her passion.
“Today I have won the first position as a woman in the Fastman and Women competition. I have won this title twice before in 2021 and 2023.’
He said that she is the first girl from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to represent Pakistan in the Asian Games and she is also the All Pakistan Inter University and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa record holder.
He said, ‘My goal is to represent Pakistan in the 2028 Olympics just like Arshad Nadeem did.’
The Athletics Federation of Pakistan also announced cash prizes for the winning male and female athletes, in which the first prize was Rs.1 lakh and the second prize was Rs.50,000.
