Asunción, IP Agency.- The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Javier Giménez, received the business delegation, whose members stated that they see Paraguay as a “hub” for renewable energies in the region, with biofuels, hydrogen and solar energy projects in their sights. They evaluate investments that could boost the economy and strengthen the country’s leadership in the energy sector. The delegation was led by the ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay in India, Fleming Duarte.
At the end of the meeting, the investors pointed out that the company Praj Industries, recognized for its track record in biofuels, will play an important role in helping small producers diversify their crops and increase their income.
They expressed that Paraguay is positioned as a potential leader in the production of innovative fuels for sustainable aviation, using ethanol, which responds to growing international demand.
In addition, there was talk of a collaboration with the International Solar Alliance to develop solar park projects in the country.
In turn, Shishir Joshipura, CEO and General Director of Praj Industries, expressed his enthusiasm for the possibilities of mutual cooperation between Paraguay and India.. He also mentioned the potential of hydrogen and solar energy, highlighting the expanses of available land and the country’s rich agriculture.
He stated that Paraguay has the privilege and the only opportunity to do many things and be one of the leaders in the world regarding biofuel solutions.
In turn, Rohan Pingale, regional manager of the firm, emphasized that this is a time for our country to exploit its resources, especially in Chaco. In that sense, he pointed out that they can bring the necessary materials to ensure that the project is sustainable in the long term.
