In his direction, Kaesang asked PSI sympathizer cadres to be solid and maintain unity.

“PSI has always been upright and supportive of the government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). “After Jokowi finishes his term of office, he must continue to uprightly support the government of President-elect Prabowo Subianto together with Gibran Rakabuming Raka,” said Kaesang.

Regarding the issue of the Brebes Regional Election, which only had one single candidate pair, Kaesang left it entirely up to the choice of each PSI cadre. “When it comes to the Brebes regional elections, I just follow whatever you want friends, I’ll just go along with it,” said Kaesang

Kaesang emphasized that PSI always supports the aspirations of the people and will respect whatever decisions the people of Brebes take in the regional elections to elect the regent and deputy regent.

Even though PSI has not provided official support for this single candidate, Kaesang confirmed that his party will remain in a position that supports the democratic process.

“What is clear is that I ask all PSI members to be solid in winning the Central Java gubernatorial candidate pair Ahmad Luthfi and Taj Yasin in the 2024 Central Java gubernatorial election,” he concluded. (JI/J-3)
