A man in Indonesia was arrested for selling his 11-month-old baby on the Internet for 15 million Indonesian rupees (approximately $955) to finance his online gambling, local media reported.
The 36-year-old man, identified as RA by authorities, was detained after the child’s biological mother returned to her home in Tangerang, west Jakarta, and discovered that her baby had gone missing.
The case became known in early October after the victim’s biological mother reported to the Police that her husband had sold the baby on August 20 while she was working in Kalimantan.
