It was found that the restaurant’s kitchen facilities and food preparation equipment were not cleaned properly and were not well maintained – there was a lot of accumulated dirt under the production tables and under the cooking device in the kitchen, refrigerators, on the shelves, the ventilation hood, and the production tables were covered with stale grease.

During the inspection, deficiencies in the storage of food products were also recorded, for example, bulk products were stored on non-moisture resistant shelf surfaces, foreign objects were placed in the warehouse together with food products. Commonly in one room with drinks, disposable containers for storing food on the floor and employees’ personal clothes and shoes, various extraneous items, such as an unused car tire or outdoor chairs.

The personal hygiene of employees who worked with food was not adequately ensured: the necessary hand disinfection and drying tools are missing at the sink. Some of the kitchen staff did not provide the inspectors with medical health check books, and some of the health check had already expired.
