Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s adviser on information, Barrister Saif, has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will invite Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar to participate in our protest and address our people, see how strong Pakistan’s democracy is, where Everyone has the right to protest.
During a conversation in a private channel program, he said that Ali Amin will reach Gandapur D Chowk and serve tea to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, we will record the protest at D Chowk and the protest will end on the call of founder PTI.
It should be noted that Barrister Saif’s statement has come out at a time when PTI protests are going on in Islamabad and Lahore. On the other hand, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that New Delhi will participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Islamabad.
Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar will attend the summit. The SCO Summit will be held in Islamabad on October 15-16. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal confirmed this development in a press conference.
Gandapur’s Information Adviser denied Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s statement that his workers had brought arms in protest. He said that why would we do this when our goals have been achieved without it.
In response to a question about the presence of the army in Islamabad, he said, “Why will we fight with the army? We have no quarrel with them. I am sure they will respect their constitution and the nation. We will protest in D Chowk.” What is our right, the army personnel will be present and will present a bouquet of flowers, the army is not coming to stop the protest of Tehreek-e-Insaaf, it is coming for the security of SCO, no delegations pass through D Chowk.
He further said that ‘Indian Prime Minister is coming, he claims to be a great democracy, he is showing that you have canceled the protest, mountains of 10,000 containers are standing in Islamabad, if he shows it. Wanting this is your form of democracy, we will invite Jaishankar to participate in our protest and address our people, see how strong Pakistan’s democracy is where everyone has the right to protest’.
