ABIDJAN, Ivory Coast, October 7, 2024 -/African Media Agency (AMA)/- LG Electronics (LG) today launches its new LG DUALCOOL air conditioners in Abidjan, the economic capital of the Republic of Ivory Coast. Incorporating innovative features including Mosquito Away™ technology, LG’s latest DUALCOOL air conditioners deliver efficient, high-performance cooling, a mosquito-free indoor environment, convenient energy consumption tracking, and reliable performance even during fluctuations voltage.
LG’s new DUALCOOL air conditioners with Mosquito Away significantly reduce the risk of mosquito bites inside the home. This advanced feature disrupts mosquitoes by generating ultrasonic waves, inaudible to most people and well below the IRPA exposure limits for humans. These waves repel 92% of mosquitoes and eliminate 88% of them. The Mosquito Away function can be easily activated using the remote control, whether the DUALCOOL is used for air conditioning or not.

The Gen Mode+ function provides three-stage control of the DUALCOOL’s power consumption, ensuring optimal performance when operating on a generator and avoiding operational interruptions when using other devices.
Delivering fast, quiet and energy-efficient cooling, LG DUALCOOL air conditioners are powered by the company’s renowned DUAL Inverter Compressor™. Thanks to LG’s innovative compressor technology, the new models consume up to 70% less energy than conventional residential air conditioning solutions.
