The Venezuelan Observatory of Finance (OVF) reported on Monday, October 7, that inflation in September was 3.4%, compared to the prices recorded in August.

In that sense, the observatory detailed that the annual inflation rate was 46%, while the accumulated rate increased to 39.4%.

In a statement, the OVF explained that these data correspond to a 3% depreciation of the bolivar against the dollar in the parallel market, as well as the expansion of monetary liquidity, which stood at 4.7% in September.

The Attorney General of Bolivia, Juan Lanchipa, reported on Monday, October 7, that he summoned former president and leader of the ruling party Evo Morales to provide a statement on a case of alleged “trafficking of minors” and “statutory rape.”

“The summons of the three people accused in this case, among them Mr. Evo Morales, and the parents of the (alleged) victim have been arranged for Thursday, October 10 at the departmental prosecutor’s office of Tarija,” Lanchipa indicated in statements. to local media.
