Asunción, IP Agency.- The National Meteorological Directorate forecasts a warm to hot day with partly cloudy skies, northeasterly winds, then variable.
For this Saturday, a hot atmosphere is expected throughout the country. The maximum temperatures predicted range between 32 and 36 degrees for the center, south and east of the national territory, while in the north of the country the maximum temperatures would be around 40 degrees.
This condition would be accompanied by predominant winds from the north, which towards the end of the day would rotate in variable directions.
The hot to very hot atmosphere would persist at least until mid-week, with minimum temperatures around 22 degrees and maximums that would vary between 32 and 42 degrees, with high temperatures accentuating in the north of the Eastern region and the Chaco.
Tomorrow, Sunday, the probability of rain increases in the center and south of the country. In this context, the development of storm cores is expected, which may intensify occasionally, mainly in the south of the country. However, for the north of both regions the probability of rain remains low.
