Adil Naeem Reigns Supreme: Thrilling Victory at the Sarfa Ranga Rally

In the fifth annual Sarfa Ranga Cold Desert Rally in the world’s highest cold desert, Adil Naeem won the first position by covering a distance of 80 km in prepaid category A in 48 minutes.

Along with this three-day rally, the festival of local sports and cultural fairs also concluded yesterday.

Governor Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah was the chief guest of the closing ceremony held at a local hotel in Sugar. A large number of car racers, bikers, sponsors, tourists and fans from all over the country also participated in the closing ceremony of the three-day Cold Desert Rally.

Qasim won first position in prepaid category B, Usama Umeer won first position in prepaid category C and Zafar Baloch won first position in prepaid category D.

For the first time, other cultural sports including rock climbing were also included in the Surfah Ranga Cold Desert Rally. He further said that the tourism department will continue its role for the economic development of the region by organizing cultural and adventure sports competitions in different districts of Gilgit-Baltistan along with the promotion of healthy activities.
