The Islamabad High Court has given a major order on the request to stop the protest in the capital and said that illegal assembly will not be allowed in the federal capital. Chief Justice Amir Farooq said that the court cannot give any direction to PTI.

During the hearing on PTI’s request to stop the protest in the Islamabad High Court, the Interior Minister, Interior Secretary and key police officials were summoned.

The application filed by Raja Hassan Akhtar was heard by Chief Justice Amir Farooq in the courtroom number one of the Islamabad High Court.

The Islamabad High Court summoned the Interior Secretary at three o’clock in a personal capacity.

At the beginning of the hearing, Chief Justice Amir Farooq inquired that what is the urgency of Ji Raja? I don’t usually do cases on Saturdays but let me know if it’s urgent.

Chief Justice Amir Farooq called Advocate General Islamabad to the rostrum and asked him to ask the Interior Secretary to appear in the court, ask a responsible officer of the police to appear, it may not be appropriate to call the Interior Minister. If so, call them too.

The Chief Justice said that the court cannot give any direction to PTI, I can issue orders to the government agencies to protect the rights of the citizens, mobile signals are off for two days, what will happen if someone has an emergency.

On the arrival of Home Secretary Khurram Ali Agha, Chief Justice Amir Farooq inquired why the whole city has been closed. On which the Interior Secretary said that the Prime Minister of Malaysia was in Islamabad yesterday, there is a law for protest in Islamabad, an important Saudi delegation is also arriving in Pakistan in three to four days, it is a matter of pride for Pakistan to have a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. .

The Chief Justice said that you are the government and your job is to ensure equal rights, the government’s job is to ensure equal rights of citizens.
