PEC Zwolle has gained a point from the visit to SC Heerenveen. A quick goal by Davy van den Berg is quickly neutralized by the Frisians. What follows is a match in which PEC Zwolle can certainly hope for more after the break, but the score remains 1-1.
PEC had a dream start in the Abe Lenstra stadium, as the score was 0-1 within three minutes. It was Davy van den Berg with a precise slide, who shot Dylan Mbayo’s cross from the right behind former Zwolle goalkeeper Mickey van der Hart. PEC could not enjoy it for long, because it was Dimitris Rallis who scored the equalizer on the edge of offside.
Difficult to relax
After that, the home team got into the game better and also had the better chances. But the Frisian attempts yielded no goals. Just before half time, Younes Namli was very dangerous again on behalf of PEC Zwolle. His attempt was saved with some effort by Van der Hart, at the expense of a corner.
Better in second half
