Echoes of achievement are heard again from the international stage. This time, Indonesia shines through the figure of the 2024 Indonesian Tourism Princess, Ni Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari, who is more familiarly known as Tata Juliastrid.
Saturday, October 5 2024 was a historic night, when Tata won the title of Miss Cosmo 2024 in a prestigious competition held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The title “The Impactful Crown Miss Cosmo” that she achieved further confirms her position as an influential figure in the world of global tourism.
In a competition attended by 58 contestants from various countries, Tata gracefully managed to beat other tough contestants.

Among them, Mook Karnruethai Tassabut from Thailand who was the first runner-up, and Samantha Jo Elliott from the United States who had to be satisfied with the second runner-up title. The competition also saw names like Gladys Romina Lozano Saldaña from Peru and Bùi Th? Xuân H?nh from Vietnam was the third and fourth runner-up.
Tata’s struggle in this competition was not easy, but the fighting spirit he showed along the way to the crown of victory inspired many people. This woman from Banjar Penopengan, Sanur, Bali not only amazes with her beauty and charm, but also through her deep advocacy for sustainable tourism. With the theme Sustainable Tourism, Tata managed to steal the attention of the judges and placed him as the leading figure from the start of the competition.
Uploads on the official Instagram account @officialputeriindonesia show Tata who cannot hide her happiness after being crowned Miss Cosmo 2024. In her first speech, she expressed deep gratitude to her entire team and supporters.
“A million thanks cannot express how I feel tonight. You are all extraordinary, and I am very grateful for this extraordinary support,” said Tata.
“There may only be one crown, but there are 58 winners, ladies who are not standing here tonight you are all winners, thank you.”
Tata’s journey to victory at Miss Cosmo 2024 is very interesting. After successfully qualifying for the top 21 round, Tata impressed the judges in the swimsuit competition session, leading to her becoming one of the top 10 best.
She then appeared elegant in an elegant black dress in the evening dress session, which further strengthened her position to advance to the Top 5. However, the peak of her struggle occurred when she managed to penetrate the final round and faced the representative of Thailand in the final debate session.
This final debate determined Tata’s victory, where he confidently presented a sustainable craft project based on environmental conservation. In this session, Tata proposed a creative program involving local craftsmen to process plastic waste and waste into traditional craft products.
Each product will be equipped with a QR code, enabling tracking and introducing the value of sustainability to global consumers.
