For the second day, alleged narcomantas are left in Campeche

CAMPECHE.- This Thursday, October 3, the city woke up with new tension after the discovery of three new narcomantas in less than 24 hours. The situation has created panic among citizens.

The messages, which were in different locations in the city, warned about the appearance of a new criminal group that promises to do what the State Attorney General’s Office has not been able to achieve.

The blankets, which mention several people identified as “Check me“, “the key 25” and “darwing aka banana”, announce the creation of an organization called “united campechanos”, which proposes to carry out a “clean-up” against criminals such as extortionists and floor collectors.

One of the blankets was hanging near a kindergarten on 9th Street in the Esperanza neighborhood. Upon arriving at the place, elements of the Secretariat of Protection and Citizen Security (SPSC) cordoned off the area and waited for the arrival of the Prosecutor’s Office, who was present to remove the blanket.

Then they found two more blankets on the China Bridge and on Orquídea Street, in the Jardines neighborhood, before 7 in the morning.

Narcomantas in Campeche

Yesterday, Wednesday, banners with messages related to organized crime also appeared, two of them were located between adjacent avenues, near the point where, on Monday, they murdered a man allegedly related to the cartel Pure New People (PGN)according to unofficial information.

The messages were on Benito Juárez Avenue, in the Presidentes de México neighborhood, and another on CTM Avenue. One more was found in the peripheral during the morning.

“El Zavala” is murdered in Campeche

On Monday, September 30, around 8:00 p.m., Luis Menalio CZ, alias Zavalawhen he was traveling aboard a taxi on Benito Juárez Avenue, from the Presidents of Mexico Housing Unit in the capital city.

Zavala was the right hand of The Ramseskilled on September 21 in Tabasco. It is presumed that both would be related to the Pura Gente Nueva cartel.
