Fact Check: Claims on Removal of Urdu as Compulsory Subject from Curriculum – Pakistan

It was claimed by some users on social media that Education Minister Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, while issuing instructions, said that under the new undergraduate policy of the Higher Education Commission, Urdu has been removed from the curriculum of universities and colleges as a compulsory subject.
