Svethia Recanati repeats the success of seven days ago and returns from Teramo with two points which allow them to be the only team with full points after two days. Coach Di Chiara’s band was always in control and followed the start of the match in Pesaro thanks to an immediately inspired Urbutis who was followed by baskets from Pozzetti and Magrini. At 2-11 coach Stirpe calls a time out which however does not produce the desired results, Recanati continues to be prolific by exploiting the energy of a Zomero who scores 9 points in less than five minutes. Clementoni and Urbutis close a partial where Svethia is absolute master of the field (12-26).
Teramo raises the defensive intensity, Mazzagatti and Caroè open the quarter bringing the red and whites back to -10 (16-26) but it is still the Leopardian team that pushes on the accelerator thanks to six points in a row from Clementoni and Zomero’s bomb (16 -35). The hosts are not willing to act as sparring partners and react by also taking advantage of an empty pass from Andreani and his teammates who suffer an 11-2 partial. Marinelli, Massotti and Mazzagatti exalt the Teramo public and at half-time the dispute is partially reopened (29-39). After the long break, Teramo tries everything, raising the intensity of a match which Svethia, however, as a mature team, manages to manage with personality.
Clementoni opens with a triple of 49-62, the usual Massotti and Marinelli push Tasp back to -8 (36-44). Magrini, Urbutis and Pozzetti from underneath for the +13 Recanati (41-54), Marinelli and Massotti on the other side did well not to let the home team collapse, closing in the 30th minute (47-60). At the dawn of the last ten turns of the clock it is still Massotti with a basket plus a foul who rekindles the red and white support (50-60), but in fact it is the last local blaze because a wild Zomero with the collaboration of Pozzetti and a Magrini hot from 6.75 spell the end to a race always conducted with authority.
In the appendix there is also joy for Filippo Marcone born in 2007 who did well to score his first two points in Serie B. It finished 65-86 with almost 150 very warm Leopardian fans celebrating.
