Former US official: Biden’s policies in Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean are “ridiculous and dangerous”

United States – Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson, a former official at the US State Department, confirmed that President Joe Biden is pursuing “ridiculous and dangerous” policies in Europe and the eastern Mediterranean.

This came during his participation via video conference technology, in a session held yesterday, Sunday, on the sidelines of the Seventh Kuala Lumpur Forum Conference in an Istanbul hotel, entitled “Palestine and the International Order after the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation.”

During the session, Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson criticized the operations carried out abroad by former American presidents, such as: Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama.

Wilkerson, who participated in the session via video conference technology, added that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is “an instrument of American policy.”

For his part, the American military expert and political analyst Scott Ritter, who also participated online, touched on the effects of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on the global system.

Ritter pointed out that the Al-Aqsa Flood operation carried out by the Palestinian factions led to questioning the values of the United States of America and its leadership role in the world.

He stressed that this skepticism naturally led to a radical change in the international system.

Ritter stated that the Palestinian issue was returned to the international agenda through Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which seriously questioned Israel’s legitimacy.

He added: “The world sees Israel as an apartheid, genocidal, and illegal state that is inconsistent with the values of the world.”

He stressed that US relations with Israel sparked great reactions around the world.

Earlier on Sunday, the activities of the seventh conference of the Kuala Lumpur Forum for Thought and Civilization began in Istanbul, entitled “Palestine, the Lever of Civilizational Awakening,” and includes seminars and sessions dealing with the Palestinian issue.

The forum (non-governmental), is organized in cooperation with the Al-Baraka Algerian Association, Sabahattin Zaim University, and the Turkish Human and Civilization Movement Association, and continues until Tuesday.

The forum includes seminars and sessions with titles and themes including “Palestine and the international order after the Al-Aqsa flood,” and “Palestine, the compass of civilizational advancement, the cultural repercussions of the flood on the global order.”

Other titles and topics include “Palestine and the Islamic World after the Al-Aqsa Flood,” and “The Flood in its Arab and Islamic Environment.”
