DEPUTY Chairman of the DPR RI, Cucun Ahmad Syamsurizal, said that the ministerial nomenclature for President-Elect Prabowo Subianto’s cabinet would be known between 10 October or at the latest on 14 October 2024. For this reason, according to him, the DPR RI will first wait for confirmation of the number and nomenclature of these ministries to determine the DPR’s equipment. (AKD) or the number of commissions in the DPR that will work for the next five years.

“We don’t know for sure, what is certain is that we heard that on the 10th (October), no later than the 14th it can be synchronized with the AKD in the DPR,” said Cucun at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Friday (4/10).

As stated by the Chairman of the DPR RI, Puan Maharani, according to him, the AKD will be decided later so that there will be no term “dismantling”. According to him, matters relating to the addition and nomenclature of ministries will also be discussed with the DPR.

“It is better for us to wait for the results of the release of this nomenclature,” he said.

He also predicted that the person who would become minister would not be named when the ministry nomenclature was announced. It is possible that the names of the ministers will be announced after the President’s inauguration.

“The nomenclature must have been coordinated, but until now we have not received it,” he said.

Member of the DPR RI Said Abdullah said that there would be 13 commissions in the DPR RI in the 2024-2029 period. This, he said, had been approved by the political party factions in the DPR RI.

“God willing, the faction friends will be firm,” said Said at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Thursday (3/10). (Ant/D-3)
