A number of countries are preparing and carrying out evacuations for their citizens to immediately leave Lebanon amidst the increasing escalation of attacks between Israel and Hamas. According to Al Jazeera, a number of countries are preparing evacuation schemes for their citizens who want to leave Lebanon.
The following is a list of countries that have prepared evacuation schemes for their citizens.
1. Australia provides hundreds of plane seats for its citizens to leave Lebanon, flying military planes to Cyprus as a contingency plan.

2. Brazil said that 3,000 of its citizens wanted to be repatriated. Therefore, they sent the Air Force’s Airbus A330 aircraft for those who wanted to go. The plane flew 220 people from Beirut on Friday and makes two flights a week.
3. More than 200 Chinese citizens have been safely evacuated by the government.
4. Reports from Canada state that they will cooperate with Australia in evacuating its citizens by sea.

5. Cyprus evacuated 38 of its citizens on Thursday using planes provided by Greece. Cypriots in Lebanon are estimated to number 1,000 to 1,500.
6. The German Foreign Ministry said that it flew 219 of its citizens out of Lebanon on Friday (4/10).
7. France has had contingency plans in place for months with current plans centered on Cyprus and Beirut airports. They also discussed evacuation via Türkiye.

8. Japan sent two C-2 military transport aircraft to Lebanon on Thursday (3/10). They were on standby to evacuate 40 to 50 Japanese citizens in Lebanon.
9. Greece evacuated 22 of its citizens on Thursday, along with several Cypriots.
10. The Netherlands will also send military aircraft to repatriate its citizens from Lebanon via two flights today and tomorrow.

11. Romania evacuated 69 of its citizens from Lebanon by military plane yesterday, its foreign and defense ministries said.
12. Russia begins evacuating its citizens from Lebanon. The diplomats’ families departed on a special flight from Beirut yesterday.
13. The United States ordered dozens of troops to be deployed to Cyprus to help prepare for scenarios such as the evacuation of American citizens from Lebanon. (Z-2)
