Prepared solar cells with the help of which energy can be obtained

Scientists have made great advances in solar photovoltaic (PV) technology that will make it possible to use your backpack to generate solar energy.

According to experts from the University of Oxford in the UK, this development has been made using a much thinner material and is much more effective than traditional panels.

In addition to being extremely thin, the material is flexible enough to make it a part of many everyday items.

Currently, rooftop solar panels can’t collect much energy and are expensive, but scientists expect their advances to dramatically change how solar energy is harvested.

“We proved that this material works better than silicon,” he said.

“It’s also important because we can get a lot more solar power without silicon-based panels,” he added.

“We have developed a material capable of collecting solar energy which is cheaper as well as more effective and can be used everywhere,” he said.

According to the researchers, this new material, based on multiple light-absorbing layers, has so far been 27 percent more efficient than conventional solar panels, which may not seem like much, but it’s close to the energy limit of single-layer photovoltaics. .

They believe that initial success is just the beginning, with the new material’s efficiency increasing from 6 percent to 27 percent over the course of 5 years of testing.

He said that we believe that the efficiency of photovoltaic devices will reach 45%.

The material is so thin and flexible that it can be applied to almost anything, from buildings and roads to backpacks or mobile phones, the researchers said.
